Rev. Dr. Felicia Nanette Gross

Rev. Dr. Felicia Nanette Gross has over 20 years of Human Resource experience, inclusive of providing strategic HR support to senior-level executives. Her insight to different perspectives, business models, and best practices has allowed her to implement innovative and effective HR practices. As a SHRM-SCP certified HR professional with strong relationship building skills, she has successfully served as a trusted advisor and business partner to executive level management as they work towards achieving their organization’s goals.

What she once thought was merely a passion for the field of HR, Rev. Dr. Felicia realized was a much larger passion and calling to serve others, promote just treatment of all, and help individuals walk with power, authority, and boldness in the fullness of their worth. She does this through her work as the Founder of Make It Happen, SIS ~ Spiritually Inspired Sisters; as well as through her service as an Itinerant Elder at Community of Hope AME Church, where she currently serves in church administration. She also serves in a leadership capacity on both the Women and Marriage ministries.

Rev. Dr. Felicia holds a Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management. She has also earned a Master’s of Divinity with specializations in Urban Ministry & African American Church Studies as well as a Doctor of Ministry, Soul Care, both from Wesley Theological Seminary. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., whose experience and education has equipped her to be well versed in providing HR and leadership services in both corporate and church settings.

Although she has spent most of her life in the Washington, DC Metro Area, she is native to Georgetown, SC where under the care of her grandmother, the late Ms. Mattie Mae Wilson, she began attending Bethel AME Church at a very young age.  She is the only child of her mother, Ms. Jerlyn V. Wilson and the eldest of four to Rev. Franklin E. Rutledge & First Lady Sandra Rutledge. She is blessed to be married to her very best friend, Minister Gregg Gross, Sr.  As a blended family, they are the parents of three young adults: Tivali, Elizabeth, Gregg Jr., and one teenager, Gianni. The couple's love of family extends to their godchildren.
