Our Becoming

What started as a pre-celebration for a new decade of my life, became the realization of my commitment to create safe spaces that inspire, motivate, and coach myself and other women towards making it happen!

The Celebration

In celebration of having endured many “But God” moments, I held a vision board party, and invited a group of my “sistah friends” to spend the afternoon with me as I was approaching a milestone birthday. Whether by helping me heal from some of the most challenging phases of my life or celebrating the happiest of them, all of these women had in some way been a vital part of my life up until that point

A Powerful Experience

Some of these ladies knew each other and others met for the first time that day, yet we all spent the afternoon sharing, healing, growing, crying, laughing and of course eating!

We made vision boards and over the course of the next year checked in regularly to check progress, encourage, support and pray for one another.

Vision Manifested

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Jeremiah 29:11-14
